Meet Margot Flamingo and Cosette
The real-life sister duo behind the Margot Flamingo book series!
Margot Flamingo
Margot Flamingo was born on July 2, 2020 in Alabama. She spent the first two years of her life in Chicago, Illinois after Katie, John and Cosette adopted her. She loves to shred tissues and paper towels (for fun), find and chew socks, bark at most things with wheels, zoom around the house every night, and cuddle with the family on the couch and in bed.
Margot Flamingo is thrilled (we think) that she’s the inspiration behind a book series and mission to help children and families. She looks forward to relaxing a bit more in her new city of Key West and exploring and playing with Cosette.
Cosette
Cosette was only four years old when Margot Flamingo joined her family. Until Margot’s arrival, she had grown up with Mia, a very gentle Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Margot Flamingo brought new joy to Cosette and the family during the Covid pandemic. Cosette always grew up in a dog-loving household but has embraced her connection to dogs more and more every year. She often refers to Margot Flamingo as her “doggy sister”. She continues to be active in Margot Flamingo’s training, chores, and daily routine and influences stories, resources, and business ideas.
